How
To Choose an effective
ENERGY
PROTECTION PRODUCT
‘Lloyds underwriters and leading
insurance
groups have refused to offer ‘Product Liability Cover’ to mobile phone
manufacturer’s
for damage to users health . . . . What is
certain, through even the most basic
understanding of physics is that
EMF’s do weaken our energy fields
and this
will lead to some form of illness and disease in humans. ’ Steve Gamble
You've probably heard
of one or more
of the growing number of energy
protection devices (examples above) currently being marketed
with great enthusiasm by their many distributors. And, if you care about
protecting yourself
from harmful environmental energies such as the electro-magnetic
frequency (EMF) stress from mobile
phones, TETRA masts, high tension power lines etc., you may even own one.
If, on the other hand, you're one of the practitioners who meets
clients each day who've stopped using such devices because they've
become
aware of their various failings or side-effects, you may tend to feel
more
circumspect about many of these products claims.
We have been researching energy protection products
(EPPs), at Energy Solutions,
since the early '80s. Also, since we see, on a daily basis, the
direct connections
between health, disease and environmental stresses, we have developed
our
own energy protection products - so we don't claim to be completely
neutral when discussing or demonstrating the pros and cons of any
particular
device. Having said this, we only developed our most recent products,
the Energy
Egg and Guardian
Angel, when we were unable to find any EPP on the market that
offered even a small fraction of the requirements we had for protecting
the energies of our clients at Energy
Solutions.
We
maintain a comprehensive list of all the "energy protection" products
that
our clients have brought to our attention over the years, in terms of
their
benefits (if any) and side-effects. However, since this information is
solely for our clients, we'd like to offer this short summary of what
you need to bear in mind when considering purchasing
any device that purports to enhance or protect your energy.
"I think there is clear evidence
that exposure to EMF’s
increases the
risk of cancer.
This is most clear with leukaemia and brain
tumours,
but in residential studies
statistical significance increased
for all kinds
of cancers.
And we are just beginning to have a whole body of evidence
that
reproductive cancers are increased by exposure (to EMF's)”
Dr
David Carpenter, Dean of
the State of New York School of Public Health.
There are three key questions you should bear in mind when considering
buying an Energy Protection Device:
1 Does it do what it says it does, or anything at all?
2 Does it emit its own environmental stresses?
3 Does it give whole body
energy protection?
The trouble is - how can you answer these questions? The short
answer is to develop your own inherent energy sensing abilities (see
below) so you can see for yourself. For most people
however, it comes down to the advertising literature and their own
post-purchase experience. So, a word about EPP marketing first . . .
Beware
of "Scientific" marketing
Claims
When reading about the claimed scientific benefits of any product, bear
in mind that
what you are reading will be partial and won't include any information
about side-effects or what the product doesn't do. Of
course, one hopes that there aren't any side-effects and that the EPP will
protect you from many forms of harmful environmental energy or environmental
stress (there are literally thousands of such stresses) Unfortunately,
this is rarely the case.
First of all, beware of the word, "scientific." It's probably the most
abused
word in the world of medical and health product sales today. As you may
know, "scientific"
is used, with alarming frequency, to sell drugs that, for many people,
don't work
as claimed or frequently cause serious illness or worse (Vioxx being a
recent example). It's also used to help sell a wide range of other
products that may or may not
do you some
good.
Science is useful
because it can
make clear distinctions between one result and another. For example,
science
tells us that the odds are good that an aspirin will be better for your
headache
than many a herbal brew. But science can also be very misleading. It
rarely
tells us much about what else is going
on. And it also usually takes a 'snapshot' view rather than looking at
much longer-term effects.
A well-known example of this occurred in the '80s, when cardiologists
were promoting the scientifically-determined benefits to your
heart of avoiding saturated fats and
eating more polyunsaturates - vegetable oils, margarine and the like.
However,
they weren't mentioning how
increasing polyunsaturate consumption increased
your risk of developing
various forms of cancer. Why should they? They were
heart specialists, not cancer specialists.
Of course, all
that members of the public heard was doctors saying, "margarine is
better
than butter." Most people weren't in a position to see
where the cardiologists were coming from. And, what's more, they
weren't
to know that, 20 years later, many doctors would be saying that
saturated
fats aren't so bad for your heart after all - in
spite of all the science that
had been used so successfully to sell so many billions of dollars worth
of
margarine and vegetable oils over the years. Science has become a very
powerful marketing tool, often to its and our detriment.
Just as for food and drug marketing, much Energy Protection Product
marketing
focuses heavily on the science
that supports the products. Naturally, no mention will be made of
science that
doesn't support its claims, nor any science that suggests there
may be more going on than meets the eye (see TETRA masts below). Over
the years we have seen
hundreds of people who've stopped using their energy protection
products either because they've become aware of one or other
side-effects or because 'it didn't seem to do anything.' The post-puchase
experience is, all too often, one of harm or disappointment with
EPP devices.
Many
a drug also follows the same well-worn path: it's released with much
fanfare
about its scientific benefits. Then, at least in the USA,
highly-qualified
persons or well-known "names" are used to claim that it's the best
thing since sliced bread. People are enticed into wanting the medicine
and so
ask
their doctors for it. But then, over time, more and more people
eventually
start developng new symptoms when using it. Then they start talking to
each
other and getting together and telling their doctors until, eventually,
at least 20%
of all medical drugs are then withdrawn due to user and clinical
experience down
the line. Meanwhile many other drugs continue to cause disease or even
death.
Is it fair to compare often relatively subtle Energy Protection
Products with the effects of medical drugs? In some cases, yes. Some of
the advertising is very enticing. Many
don't really
protect your energy at all (more on this later), but many also emit
environmental
stresses themselves - some dangerous enough to directly cause new
illnesses. One of our clients was recently hospitalised after using
a well-known EPP in her home for a very short time.
This doesn't mean that manufacturers of EPPs are
necessarily, ethically-challenged - as some doctors claim the
pharmaceutical industry to
be. Most of them are, without doubt, very sincere and well-meaning
people. However,
designing a product that has only
a positive effect on human energy isn't
a simple matter (we have spent the last 23 years researching this
complex subject), and it's not a skill that can be learnt through a
medical
or scientific training or on a dowsing or kinesiology course. Human
energy continues to remain, by and large, a
mystery to conventional medicine and science and to much of the alternative health world too.
Apart from scientific tests, the other way of designing or testing
energy protection products is by using bioenergetic techniques,
such as dowsing, acupuncture, electro-acupuncture,
kinesiology or even channeling in a few cases. Unfortunately, even
though these methods can reveal phenomena that remain invisible or
unknown to science,
they suffer from exactly the same liability: not knowing what else is
going on in addition to whatever is being tested.
Three
examples of energy protection products
(note, these are real products which
we have analysed and are using to demonstrate the typical problems of
EPP devices)
'
. . it is important to realise that the human body is
primarily and almost totally an energy system first
and a
biological/biochemical one second. All life is composed of the building
blocks
of life
- the atom, and an atom is comprised of 99.999% space or
energy,
hence we humans are 99.999% energy too.'
Steve Gamble, ibid
Robbing Peter To Pay Paul
- Product A
is marketed with the
help of a number of scientific studies showing how it benefits stamina,
mood and stress resistance. However, we also know from too
many clients to count that they've stopped using it
because it's "done their heads in," to quote just one.
Even though being very sensitive
to environmental stress can
be a trial, it can also be a blessing in disguise because it
enables you
to experience effects that reflect processes occurring in everyone,
but of which most people remain
blissfully unaware - until they wake up one morning with a
well-advanced problem.
In fact, we have treated one of the core team that markets Product A,
whose
major clinical problems have resulted from long-term exposure to this
product . . .
|
Product A belongs
to the largest category of EPPs - the 6th
chakra hyper-stimulators. This
category includes all products that stimulate the frontal lobes of your
brain with
one kind of energy or another. In the case of Product A, this energy
comes
from the owner's own 4th chakra, the solar plexus energy centre. So
Product A also belongs to the category of EPPs
that "rob Peter to pay Paul."
Taking energy from one area of your body to fuel another area isn't a
good
idea - it always leads to problems resulting from an increasing, local
energy
deficiency. And stimulating another area of your body in this way also
isn't
good because the energy being used to provide the stimulation doesn't
belong
there - anymore than your stomach acid belongs in your colon . . .
However, if you hyper-stimulate an area of the body, scientific or
bio-energetic
tests will often show that it's working better than before -
and you may well feel better, for a shorter or longer time.
Until, after however many months or years, you develop
a new problem. But, by then, you are unlikely to make any connection
between the appearance of that new
problem and the peculiar pendant you wear or the funny box in the
corner
of the living room or whatever other form your EPP may take.
We all tend to have short
attention spans. As long as we feel better soon
after we try something new we tend to assume that it's only doing
us good. Or, to put it another way, while our hearts might appreciate
the
polyunsaturated oil, we aren't going to worry about, say, the colon
cancer that's developing - until
we start experiencing symptoms in 20 years time . .

Converting One Stress Into
Another
- Product B
gets
a lot of support from several well-known doctors, partly because
it's a "scientific" product. So that's alright then. Well, not
really. Though to give it its due, it does offer powerful protection
for
the three areas of the energy body - the brain and autonomic nervous
system, the heart and the genito-urinary
system - most directly affected by the electromagnetic stresses emitted
by
mobile phones.
Unfortunately, Product B converts
the electromagnetic stress it encounters into a different form
of environmental
stress that attacks far more areas of the body than it protects.
So,
while scientific instruments show that a harmful electromagnetic
signal is dramatically reduced by using Product B, they don't show that
it has simply
been changed into another, equally harmful, signal.
Hyper-Stimulation With Environmental Stress
- Product C
is a pure
stress emitter. It doen't protect anyone from any stresses.
However, it can fool most
forms of bioenergetic testing by corrupting the flows of energies
underlying
the test techniques themselves. One of the Achille's heels of
bioenergetic tests
is that few practitioners can distinguish between when something being
tested is
having a positive effect or when it's simply disabling the bioenergetic
system(s)
of the person(s) performing the test or being tested (thus invalidating
the test).
This
product
has no redeeming features - and it sells by the tens of thousands. It
looks
very elegant and is a more powerful frontal lobe stimulator than
Product A.
Basically, it's the equivalent of hooking yourself up to a caffeine
drip-feed
throughout the day - except moderate quantities of caffeine do have
some positive qualities for many people.
Energy-sensitive
people can often feel the energy of this device almost as soon as they
walk into
a room where it's present. The sensation is usually like a pressure
often
accompanied by sudden sweating or headache. No doubt more scientific
studies will appear supporting its use - and thousands more people will
end
up using it and will feel better for a while . . .
Energy
Protection devices and TETRA Masts *
"When a
Tetra mast was switched on in Dursley in Gloucestershire people there
complained of migraines, sleeplessness,
nosebleeds and being ‘shocked awake’ up to 15 times a night . . . At a
school
in Littlehampton, Sussex, 11 children had to be sent home on the day
that
a nearby Tetra mast went live. The children suffered dizziness and,
like
the residents of Dursley, severe headaches and nosebleeds. . .
.
If you live near a Tetra mast, then this story affects you directly.
And
considering that there will eventually be at least 3,200 such masts
erected
in the UK, there will be one near you." The Ecologist Oct, 2004
The new police communications system's TETRA masts
are considered, by many, to be an extremely dangerous source of
environmental
stress. They are certainly a big challenge for any
EPP. TETRA masts are currently
receiving a lot of attention because their effects are relatively
rapid-onset
for many people, so the connection between them and the appearance of
new
symptoms is easy to recognise. Also, of course, TETRA
masts emit strong electromagnetic signals (microwave radiation and low
frequency electromagnetic pulsing), so the likelihood of them being
harmful makes more sense to someone raised in a scientific Western
culture than the potential dangers of, say, that old mirror hanging in
the dining room (see Hidden
Secrets of Real Health).
Like all electrical
installations, the harm a TETRA
mast does varies according to the energies of the place where it is
sited - just as sticking
an acupuncture needle in one point on the body can have a very
different effect from
those of other points. Nevertheless, all TETRA
masts attack the 6th chakra
- the energy centre controlling the frontal lobes of the brain and
much of the nervous and endocrine systems
- and the 4th chakra -
controlling the heart, upper digestive tract and much
of the immune system.
As you may be aware,
each chakra has three major channels running through it, which control
different
parts of your energy body. Medical drugs largely affect the
right channel whereas
homeopathic remedies affect the left
channel. So let's see how the three sample Energy Protection Devices
fare with "TETRA mast stress (TMS)."
Product A (see above), when
worn by someone near a TETRA
mast, enables the left channel of the 6th chakra to eliminate the
incoming
environmental stress significantly faster than it could on its own. It
has no effect on the elimination
of stress entering the right or central channel. And it increases
the accumulation of the stress in the 4th chakra. However, the 6th
chakra is
largely responsible for your energy level, so wearers of Product A will
tend
to feel better when in the presence of TETRA masts
than without it. They are, however, still being damaged by the
emissions
from the mast in their 4th chakras and other areas of their 6th
chakras, which will lead, over time, to physical or psychological
illness in
many people.
Product B has no protective
effect against TMS.
Product C actually increases the accumulation of TMS
by the chakras, but it also stimulates
the 6th chakra with its own
stress emissions. So some people may
well feel better when wearing it near a TETRA mast but, again, are getting no
real energy protection. If you imagine TETRA
mast signals as a medical drug with nasty side-effects (TMS) and
Product C
as another medical drug (with its own side-effects), Product C puts its
wearer
in the same position as the millions of people currently taking one
toxic
medical drug to off-set the side-effects of another toxic medical drug
- feeling better "today" but due to pay the price "tomorrow."
By way of comparison, an Energy Egg eliminates TMS from all
three channels of all chakras - with two possible exceptions:
1 The Energy Egg's ability to enable
the body to almost instantly eliminate all incoming TMS may be
compromised by:
(i) the strength of the
particular TMS (there are many models of TETRA mast),
(ii) the mast's location
(iii) how close you are to the Tetra
mast.
This is why we often use Guardian
Angels for high-stress neighbourhoods.
Having
said this, we've also seen many TETRA masts for which the Energy Egg
was perfectly adequate on its own. (We are happy to advise you if the
Energy Egg is sufficient in your particular case.)
2 Some people already have
deep lesions in their energy bodies that make them extra-vulnerable to some
or many enviromental stresses. If such a chakra fracture is
present in the 6th or 7th chakras - e.g. all cases of fibromyalgia
include deep 7th chakra fractures - the Energy Egg may not be able to
support the body sufficiently
and may even cause a reaction itself (observed in five cases out of
over
five hundred). In such a case, relying on any kind of energy protection
device, on its own,
is an ineffective approach. We would suggest, in these cases, that the
client has an Energy
Solutions.

Cultivating
Your own energy awareness
The reason why so many EPPs don't really work is that their
manufacturers
unwittingly confuse stimulating an area of the body with protecting
that
area from an external signal - an environmental stress. This is rather
like taking an aspirin whilst continuing to bang your head against the
wall. Even though the
aspirin may help you feel better, the damage from the
"headbanging" continues to develop, leading to more serious
consequences in due course.
As we said above, it's very difficult to make
an accurate decision about using an energy protection product. And
those
who are trying to make such a decision have our utmost sympathy. All
claims
or forms of testing, scientific or otherwise, can be extremely
misleading
- as can how you feel. Just because you feel good
doesn't mean something is necessarily doing you any good - the
obvious analogies are countless.
Not all EPPs are bad - but most of them emit harmful signals of one
kind or another. And very few of them protect more than a small
fraction of your
energy; or protect you from more than one or two out of thousands of
environmental stresses.
The best advice we can give is (i) do whatever you can to develop
your own energy awareness. Our, usually, barely-developed ability
to recognise what
is or isn't good for us is, potentially, phenomenal. No
scientific or physical
bioenergetic technique comes anywhere close. And (ii) make sure you get
a full money-back 12 month warranty
with any energy protection product - the side-effects often start, for
many
people, after the first six months - though recognising that they are
side-effects isn't always so easy - unless you are developing your own
energy awareness.
Although we can't and don't make public comments about any particular
brand of energy
protection product, we can provide personal advice through Energy
Solutions, including additional means of protecting or cultivating
your energy.
Alternatively, we offer the 2-day Energy
Awareness Training - soon to be available
online - where you can start discovering how to tell for yourself
what really
works for you or your family or what you'd be better off avoiding . . .
